If you are an avid reader of my blog, you will know of my unyielding love for the French fashion house, Carven. With its own distinct style, Carven has remained high fashion yet wearable, a hard task to do. Carven manages to keep its whimsical feeling while managing to still be grown up and even sexy at times. The color choices at Carven's Spring RTW show were bold, along with vibrant prints, however, it was pulled off effortlessly.. The design house managed to keep it edgy with interesting cuts and silhouettes, and still managed to make each piece feel as if it could be taken out of some grown up fairy tale book. The collection manages to have a variety of styles. Some more elegant, some edgy, some conservative, some sexy, and manages to do this while still having a cohesive collection.
This collection is gasp worthy. Each piece seems to tell a story, each piece has its own personality. Guillaume Henry has managed to create his magic once again
This collection is probably one of my favorites. This is why I hope to work in the fashion industry.
